The teaser for The Diplomat, starring John Abraham, has been released. Directed by Shivam Nair and written by Ritesh Shah, the film is inspired by a true story and follows the journey of an Indian diplomat involved in a high-stakes case.

The teaser opens with Abraham’s character speaking to a distressed Muslim woman who identifies herself as an Indian citizen. Before she can continue, he hands her a glass of water and says, “Don’t try to hide anything otherwise it might get difficult for you.” The exchange sets the stage for a tense narrative.

Dressed in formal attire and sporting a moustache, Abraham’s character appears composed yet authoritative. The teaser suggests that the case he is handling involves significant challenges, requiring him to stay dhai kadam (two and a half steps) ahead of those involved.

Produced by T-Series, JA Entertainment, Wakaoo Films, and other production houses, The Diplomat is set for a theatrical release on March 7.
