Raid 2 featuring Ajay Devgn has earned ₹32.76 crore nett at the box office in two days, the maker said on Saturday. Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film released in theatres on May 01, 2025 (Thursday).

The movie is a sequel to the 2018 film Raid that saw Devgn play the role of IRS officer Amay Patnaik.

Production banner T-Series shared the box office collection with a post on X handle., along with a day-wise breakdown of the film.

The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor. Raid 2 revolves around IRS officer Amay Patnaik, who opens the file of a popular politician who looks clean.

The Hindu review of the movie said, “For a franchise focusing on financial corruption, the makers ensure that the villain’s decadence percolates into his character as well.

“Be it land for jobs, body for blackmail, or unearthing golden taps, the film amplifies social media chatter against a particular class of politicians to serve the sanctimonious hero, who, by the climax, becomes a means to advertise the direct benefit transfer of black money to keep the fawning public distracted.”
