Taapsee Pannu and team have wrapped up filming for Gandhari. Directed by Devashish Makhija, known for acclaimed and hard-hitting films like Joram and Bhonsle, Gandhari is a revenge drama starring Pannu and Ishwak Singh.
According to the makers, Gandhari will see Pannu performing raw action in the role of a mother on a mission.
The film is written and produced by Kanika Dhillon under her banner, Kathha Pictures.
Speaking about the film, Kanika Dhillon said in a statement, โGandhari has been both an enriching and challenging experience for us. Itโs a heroic story that I am extremely proud of. Taapsee has put her heart and soul into the film, as has the entire team.โ
Taapsee Pannu shared, โItโs been not just mentally but physically demanding film. We tried to achieve so much against all odds that wouldnโt have been possible if the entire team was not aligned together and driven enough to complete this film at breakneck speed. We have pushed the envelope a bit with this film. I felt like a new comer who wants to give it all in every shot. My job as an actor is over, so now I am waiting with bated breath to see the results of this hard work.โ
Gandhari is set to releaseย inย 2025.
