Liverpool player Diogo Jota and his brother have died in a road accident in Spain. Confirming this, the Spanish police said that Jota and his brother were found dead after their car veered off a road near Zamora.

The police are looking into the possible reasons behind the car crash. They said there was no other vehicles involved. Jota (28) and his brother 25-year-old Andre Silva, both Portuguese players, were in the car. While Jota has also represented Portugal’s national team, Silva played with Portuguese club Penafiel in the lower divisions.
