BENGALURU: Liquidnitro Games has raised $19.1 million in a Series A funding round led by Northpoint Capital, with participation from existing investor Nexus Venture Partners, as the game production and live services company looks to scale its AI-enabled development operations and expand globally.The company said the capital will be used to accelerate investment in its proprietary AI-powered game production and live services platform, scale co-investment partnerships with publishers, and support global market expansion.โ€œBy combining over a decade of experience running some of the worldโ€™s biggest franchises, deep investments in our proprietary AI-powered platform, and capital we can deploy alongside partners, weโ€™ve built a uniquely compelling value proposition for publishers navigating an increasingly challenging market,โ€ said Sandeep Kowdley, CEO of Liquidnitro.The Hyderabad-based startup works with global game publishers to build, operate and scale games across platforms and geographies. The company follows an operating model that combines AI-driven production and live services with aligned capital deployment, where it invests its own capital alongside publishing partners.โ€œLive services has followed the same formula for years, and weโ€™re here to disrupt,โ€ said Arun Kunchala, chief product officer at Liquidnitro. โ€œWeโ€™ve been obsessively building our platform to power the next generation of games, unlocking deeper, richer and more personalized experiences that players want to come back to.โ€Liquidnitro said it has partnered with multiple global publishers in its first 24 months of operations, supporting the development and live operations of large-scale games across platforms and markets. The company did not disclose partner names.โ€œLiquidnitro is quietly becoming the go-to AI-powered production, live services and TAM expansion partner for the worldโ€™s leading game publishers,โ€ said Sameer Brij Verma, founder and CIO of Northpoint Capital. โ€œTheir ability to combine AI-driven live ops, deep P&L ownership and aligned capital is creating a powerful new operating model for the industry.โ€ Prior to founding the solo partner fund, Verma was managing director and general partner at Nexus Venture Partners.Early backer Nexus Venture Partners said it has supported the company since inception. โ€œHaving watched this team execute since concept stage, itโ€™s clear they are building a category-defining company,โ€ said Pratik Poddar, partner at Nexus Venture Partners.Following the funding, Liquidnitro said it will expand investment across its AI platform and operating footprint, with a focus on growth markets including India, the Middle East and North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
