Ed Sheeranโs India tour, part of his TheMathematics concert series, has sprung a new surprise. A couple of days after his unexpected street show in Bengaluru was cancelled by the police, the British pop star was seen in a less formal setting.
He was seen cruising through the streets of Jiganj, West Bengal, with his friend and popular Indian playback singer Arijit Singh. Ed Sheeran and Arijit Singh had previously performed together. In September 2024, the duo had delighted the crowd in London during Arijitโs music tour.
The two had performed Ed Sheeranโs romantic number Perfect. Meanwhile, reports said that Arijit, with Ed Sheeran on pillion, rode for five hours on the streets of Jiganj. They were accompanied by friends on two-wheelers.

A report in Times of India said, โthe two spent close to five hours together, going from the dusty roads of Jiganj to the relatively deserted banks of Bhagirathi. At the Shibtala Ghat, they got a mechanised boat for an hour-long ride on the Bhagirathi.โ
Ed Sheeranโs India tour runs from January 30 to February 15, 2025. He will be performing in Shillong on February 12, 2025 and Delhi NCR on February 15, 2025.
