Digital infra boost: Tata Communications wins GSTAT project; multi-crore deal to boost benches nationwide

Tata Communications has secured a “multi-crore” order from the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) to set up an end-to-end digital infrastructure covering network, IoT, cloud, and security solutions.The company said the project, aimed at streamlining GSTATโ€™s functioning, will provide seamless access across all benches nationwide, strengthen data security, and deliver a simplified user experience, PTI reported.“Tata Communications has been awarded a strategic project to deliver a comprehensive digital infrastructure โ€” spanning network fabric, IoT, cloud, and security, with unified management across domains โ€” for the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) benches established by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. This multi-crore, prestigious win reinforces Tata Communicationsโ€™ position as a trusted technology partner for mission-critical national initiatives,” the company said in a statement.As part of the deal, Tata Communications will deploy a secure and intelligent ecosystem, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, video conferencing, cloud services, and advanced security. The infrastructure will help automate processes, enhance transparency, and improve efficiency through predictive analytics and chatbots.GSTAT, a dedicated appellate body for GST-related disputes, operates from its principal bench in New Delhi with 31 additional benches across states.
