The veteran off-spinner, who announced his retirement from the IPL in August last year, has been included in the Hindi commentary panel for IPL 2026. He joins a distinguished lineup featuring Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, and Sunil Gavaskar, among others, bringing both experience and insight to the broadcast.

Ashwinโs association with the IPL spans several franchises. After starting his career with Chennai Super Kings, where he played his first seven seasons, he went on to represent Punjab Kings, Rising Pune Supergiant, Delhi Capitals, and Rajasthan Royals, before making a return to CSK in 2025.
