Actor Akhil Akkineni tied the knot with entrepreneur Zainab Ravdjee on June 06, 2025 (Friday). The couple got married in the presence of their loved ones, including Akhil’s parents, the actor-couple Nagarjuna, and Amala Akkineni.

Akhil’s brother, Naga Chaitanya, was also present at the wedding ceremony, held in Hyderabad. In the traditional Telugu style wedding, Akhil wore a simple white shirt and a pancha while Zainab was seen in an ivory saree matched with diamond jewellery.

The two haven’t shared any pictures of their wedding ceremony on social media yet even as pictures were posted on X by the actor’s fans. Other celebrities who attended the wedding were legendary Telugu actor Chiranjeevi, director Prashanth Neel and actor Ram Charan. The couple made their relationship official on November 26, 2024.

Zainab, daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee, is an artist and businesswoman. “Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are engaged,” Akhil had posted on social media in November.

Akhil is known for films such as Hello (2017), Mr Majnu (2019) and Most Eligible Bachelor. The actor’s last film, Agent, was a box office flop. The actor will next be seen in Lenin, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu. Sreeleela plays the female lead in the movie.
