Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly received another death threat, this time via a WhatsApp message sent to the Mumbai Transport Department, police said.ย ย

The unidentified sender allegedly threatened to either forcibly enter Mr. Khanโs residence or detonate a car bomb targeting the actor. The message was received on a WhatsApp number belonging to the Worli Transport Department, prompting immediate police action.ย ย
Following the complaint, an FIR was registered at the Worli Police Station against an unknown person. Authorities have launched an investigation to trace the source of the message.ย ย
This is not the first time the actor has been targeted. In November last year, Mr. Khan was allegedly threatened by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A message sent to the Mumbai Police traffic control room had demanded an apology at their temple or a ransom of โน5 crore, failing which the actor would be assassinated.ย ย

That threat, purportedly sent in the name of Bishnoiโs brother, marked the second such warning within a week. Earlier, a โน2 crore ransom had also been demanded from the actor.ย ย
