New Delhi: S&P Global has reaffirmed confidence in Indiaโ€™s growth outlook, saying the country continues to be one of the best-performing major economies globally despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.Saugata Saha, president of S&P Global Market Intelligence, said India remains a critical hub for the company, supported by a strong talent base, prompting further expansion of its local operations.

The facility will house more than 3,500 employees across technology, data, operations and customer-facing functions.With over 16,000 employees already based in India, S&P Global is deepening its presence as it looks to leverage the countryโ€™s skilled workforce and growing strategic relevance in global operations. โ€œThis investment reflects our confidence in Indiaโ€™s future and our commitment to providing our people with an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration,โ€ Saha added.The new hub has been designed as a future-ready workspace, featuring advanced client collaboration zones, technology-enabled workstations, and dedicated spaces for innovation and employee wellbeing. Amenities include interactive client experience rooms, podcast studios, ideation zones, and wellness facilities.Nilam Patel said the office reflects a โ€œpeople-forward approach,โ€ aimed at fostering innovation, collaboration and overall employee wellbeing.The expansion is part of S&P Globalโ€™s broader growth strategy in India, with a focus on high-value job creation and skill development.
