Rajasthan Royals defeated Gujarat Titans by six runs in an Indian Premier League match on Saturday.

Batting first, Rajasthan Royals posted 210 for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Rajasthan openers Yashasvi Jaiswal (55 off 36 balls) and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (31 off 18) stitched 70 runs off 38 balls for the opening wicket to lay the foundation for the challenging total.

GT started their innings without regular captain Shubman Gill and struggled against Rajasthan’s spin attack, while Sai Sudarshan’s 73 off 44 kept them in the hunt.

It was a brilliant spell by Ravi Bishnoi, which triggered GT’s collapse in the middle overs, paving the way for Rajasthan Royals’ victory at 204 for seven.

South African star pacer Kagiso Rabada and Rashid Khan fought hard, but they ultimately failed to get their team over the line.

Rajasthan Royals have kept a clean sheet in their two encounters, winning both in the IPL 2026 season, while the Gujarat Titans are yet to open their account.

Interestingly, Titans have dominated the Royals in overall head-to-head matches. In eight matches, Gujarat has won six and lost two.
