The teaser ofMr. X, the upcoming Tamil film starring Arya, Gautham Karthik, Sarath Kumar and Manju Warrier, was unveiled by the makers on Sunday (February 23). The film, a spy thriller, is written and directed by Manu Anand.
The teaser says that the film is based on โthe lives and sacrifices of the heroes in the Indian Secret Service.โ A voice-over by Manju Warrierโs character states how a dangerous nuclear device has gone missing in India, the location of which is now known to Indiaโs enemies. โIf we fail to secure the device, an attack can happen anywhere and at any time,โ she says.
So to find the device and thwart the plans of the enemy, a special team of spies, called The X Force, is assembled, consisting of the characters played by Arya, Gautam and Sarath. Interestingly, towards the end of the teaser, we are also hinted at one of the spies, potentially Aryaโs character, turning rogue.
Mr. X features Athulyaa Ravi, Raiza Wilson and Anagha as the female leads. Jayaprakash and Kaali Venkat are also part of the cast.
Divyanka Anand Shankar and Raam H Puthran have penned the screenplay for the film, along with Manu. With Arul Vincent handling the filmโs cinematography, Dhibu Ninan Thomas and Prasanna GK are in charge of music and editing respectively.
Mr. X is produced by Shri Vineet Jain and S Lakshman Kumar. An official release date is yet to be announced.
