The Indian skipper for T20s, Suryakumar Yadav, has left for England for the treatment of a sports hernia-related injury, for which he may even have to go through a surgery.

Suryakumar scored over 700 runs in this IPL season for Mumbai Indians, and played the Mumbai Premier League T20 after that. The swashbuckling batsman had been constantly travelling and playing at a stretch for the past three months. It is learnt that Suryakumar is suffering from sports hernia on the right side of the lower abdomen.
